End of the Year Recommendation: Follow Keith Ferrazzi

It’s getting close to the end of the year and everybody is thinking about New Year’s resolutions and what to change next year. Let me recommend you something. If you are looking for something to have a real impact on your personal or business life, read the books of Keith Ferrazzi and his blog. You might already know “Never Eat Alone” so go ahead and give his new book “Who’s Got Your Back?” a go. Let Keith explain what it’s all about:

And if you are still thinking about if all this social media stuff like Facebook and Twitter is worth it, read this amazing story of Keith how Twitter let him connect with people he didn’t know in Guatemala and how they became friends.

New Blog Finally Online

While my old blog on www.danielzihlmann.blogspot.com served me well for more than a year now, I was getting bored of investing a lot of time in post-production and finally finding my images automatically resized and blurry on my blog. So I decided to invest some time and built a new blog that shows the images in it’s full beauty :-)

A special thanks goes to my good friend Jeanine Linder who is an awesome photographer and always helps me a lot! She knows just everything. All the cool gadgets, all the great web services that are out there, whatever. If you have a question, ask Jeanine!

Now that I finished reading Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazzi (it’s really great!), I started to read another famous book: Love Is The Killer App: How to Win Business and Influence Friends by Tim Sanders.

That’s what it is about. Another great book about business, networking and marketing. And how to become a person that will have a deep impact on other people’s life. It was recommended to me by several US photographers and because I’ve already read The Likeability Factor: How to Boost Your L-Factor and Achieve Your Life’s Dreams by Tim Sanders it was no question that I will buy this book too.

In short: Tim Sanders believes love is the crucial element in the search for personal and professional success. His definition of love business is: the act of intelligently and sensibly sharing your intangibles with your bizpartners. While our intangibles are our knowledge, our network and our compassion. Tim Sanders believes that these are the keys to true bizlove.

Read it and you will understand how right he is!
